Client: Cushman Wakefield for National Australia Bank
Product: Smarterlite Environmental Exit Signs
NAB specifies Smarterlite’s Environmental Exit Signs in its new builds and refurbishments. This commenced with 330 Collins Street Melbourne, where Smarterlite’s Hyperion Exit Sign’s have been installed. Installation was managed by Cushman Wakefield, the global real estate services company that manages NAB tenancies.
For 330 Collins Street alone, over 20 years NAB will save $72,000 and eliminate 22,000kg of carbon. Electricity consumption will be 74% less, compared to exit signs that use electric-batteries, and NAB will reduce its production of plastic and eWaste by 361kg.
Reduction in Electricity usage
Reduced lifetime costs, from construction & installation through operation of the signs
- Safer customers and staff
- Reduction in emissions and eWaste, contributing to NAB ESG targets
* compared to if every exit sign was installed and replaced as an AS2293 Exit Sign using disposable electric batteries.
